Septic Tank Install Day

Okay yall, this is not an exciting step in the process, but very necessary because…yah.

I have to mention that there was a lot more that went into getting this than I expected.

When you purchase land in the country that has never had a home on it. Water, electricity and plumbing comes alacarte. There’s no going to the city asking them to turn it on.

Once I decided which septic company I would go with I had to get an affidavit notarized, and then hire a Sanitarian. If you don’t know what a Sanitarian is, ( no judgement because I didn’t lol). They come out and test your soil to see which septic tank system would be best, mine is Aerobic. Then they draw up a system, you take it to the county and pay for a permit so they can file it.

And then you wait.. lol. It may have taken a month after doing all that to get us here. So the exciting part is that it’s finally getting put in. (The wait wasn’t that bad but this is second septic tank company).

The Septic tank along with the plumbing, and the electricity it’s putting us closer to our move in date, but we still have little ways to go. The final trim out has to be done in the house, the covering on bottom, and a porch with a ramp added so we can move in successfully.

Okay next up will be the inside and outside fencing of the property… see you on the next post!
